On the 2nd of September 2015, UK Prime Minister's Special Representative on Preventing Sexual Violence in Conflict, Baroness Joyce Anelay visited „Medica“ Zenica and spoke with representatives of six NGOs from both Entities. This visit signifies the high level of UK Government support to the efforts of post conflict societies, such as Bosnia and Herzegovina, in ending the appalling scourge of sexual violence in conflict.

UK Prime Minister's Special Representative on Preventing Sexual Violence in Conflict, BARONESS JOYCE ANELAY: „I am glad that UK supports work of these organizations which are successful at their jobs for years. We have to work a lot on this problem in the future and we have to be consensus that behind everything is a human being who needs help. Bosnia and Herzegovina has horrible past regarding this problem but, I believe that this country have great future with help of organizations like these are.

NADA GOLUBOVIĆ, Udružene žene Banja Luka: „The job that „Medica“ Zenica, Udružene žene Banja Luka and other NGOs do together in order to establish the protocol is very important. We are working on establishing the Protocol on municipality and cantonal level in order to support the victims to continue the life without trauma.“

SABIHA HUSIĆ, Medica Zenica: „As soon as we have even one survivor dealing with her trauma, who  cannot  loudly and clearly say what she has survived and if she is wondering herself if she is going to have something to eat tomorrow, how she will spend the winter because she doesn't have basic conditions for life – my opinion is that it is care of all of us.“
