Within the campaign “16 Days of Activism against Gender Based Violence” and with a purpose to promote the end of another cycle of vocational training courses, Medica Zenica organized a ceremony to present certificates to attendees of tailoring, sewing, upholstering and hairdressing courses.

Like previous years, Medica Zenica is marking the International Volunteer Day on 5 December 2009 in cooperation with the Association of Social Workers of Zenica Doboj Canton. This is an opportunity to mark this day together in Zenica Municipality with our concrete, practical contribution, to volunteer and make this as our own specific experience but also as a personal contribution to the community we live in.
Medica's director, Sabiha Husić, wins Active Citizens of Europe Award 2009 PDF Print E-mail
Volonteurope hosted the 18th European Workshop on Voluntary Action and Social Integration in Sarajevo, 8-11 October 2009, in partnership with OSCE BiH. It was an opportunity to present, for the third year, the Active Citizens of Europe Award in the category "Individual from Bosnia & Herzegovina" and also for organizations which promote volunteer work.
Support from Cantonal Government to Medica Zenica PDF Print E-mail
Minister of Labor, Social Policies and Refugees of Zenica Doboj Canton, Mr. Josip Martić, together with his associates, Munir Babić, Assistant Minister and Dijana Dedić, Secretary, paid a visit to Medica Zenica on October 9. Minister took the opportunity to take a look at Medica's service facilities: Safe house, Vocational training courses, Day care center for children, and some other services for women and children, victims of violence.
