On Thursday 6th of September 2012, at 12:00 p.m., „Medica“ Zenica organized the street action within the "Vote for women" campaign. Main goal of this campaign is to raise awareness of citizens regarding upcoming local elections as well as giving more possibilities to female candidates.

"Medica" Zenica, in addition to its contribution to the preparatory meeting held on 04.09.2012., also attended the United Nations Open Days 2012, held in Sarajevo on 12.09.2012. The aim of Open Days is to provide opportunities for women to meet with representatives of the UN in Bosnia in order to express  together the needs and priorities of women in peace and security and express opinions on progress and challenges when it comes to the implementation of the United Nation Security Council Resolution on Women, peace and security.

Children beneficiaries of services of Medica Zenica spent holiday in Slovenia PDF Print E-mail

The Institute Krog from Slovenia in cooperation with the Association "Medica" Zenica organized holiday  for children beneficiaries of services of  "Medica" Zenica (Drop-in center and Safe house "Medica" Zenica"). Children  of "Medica" Zenica  stayed in Slovenia in the period 22 -28.07. 2012. As a part of their stay in Slovenia, the children had the opportunity to socialize with their peers from Slovenia, Montenegro and Brčko.

Empowering workshops for women and girls in rural areas of Zenica municipality PDF Print E-mail

Association "Medica" Zenica, within  the campaign "Vote for Women" which is being implemented in 14 cities of BiH, in partnership with 23 organizations, organized and held 12 empowering workshops  in 4 rural areas of the municipality of Zenica (3 workshops in Begov Han, 3 workshops in Orahovica, 3 workshops in  Stranjani and 3 workshops in Babino) for a total of 85 women and girls.

Vote for women campaign started PDF Print E-mail

On 19th of July, 2012, Vote for women campaign was presented in Sarajevo. The campaign will be implemented in the next three months by the Women group in BiH, which consists of 23 organizations from 14 cities in BiH.
